If the ambient air sensor readings on your Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub aren't accurate, here are some potential causes and solutions:

  • The probes may be connected to the wrong input: Check that the correct ambient sensor is plugged into the correct input.
  • The average or opposite ambient temperature is being displayed: Cycle through the individual temperature readings until you find the setting you want.
  • The sensor in the oven could be dirty: Make sure the oven is completely cold, then clean the sensor with a damp cloth.
  • The calibration settings have been changed: Perform a factory reset.

How to perform a factory reset:

  • Disconnect the wires and remove the Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub from your oven.
  • Remove the battery compartment from the Digital Temperature Hub.
  • Perform a factory reset by pressing the reset button (your Digital Temperature Hub can either be powered on or off)

  • Replace the battery compartment and reattach the wires to your Digital Temperature Hub
  • Replace the Digital Temperature Hub back onto your oven
  • Proceed to reconnect the Digital Temperature Hub with the Ooni App

If the above steps haven't helped, please contact the Ooni Support Team, who will be happy to help.
