If the ambient air sensor readings on your Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub aren't accurate, here are some potential causes and solutions:
- The probes may be connected to the wrong input: Check that the correct ambient sensor is plugged into the correct input.
- The average or opposite ambient temperature is being displayed: Cycle through the individual temperature readings until you find the setting you want.
- The sensor in the oven could be dirty: Make sure the oven is completely cold, then clean the sensor with a damp cloth.
- The calibration settings have been changed: Perform a factory reset.
How to perform a factory reset:
- Disconnect the wires and remove the Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub from your oven.
- Remove the battery compartment from the Digital Temperature Hub.
- Perform a factory reset by pressing the reset button (your Digital Temperature Hub can either be powered on or off)
- Replace the battery compartment and reattach the wires to your Digital Temperature Hub
- Replace the Digital Temperature Hub back onto your oven
- Proceed to reconnect the Digital Temperature Hub with the Ooni App
