The Ooni Koda 2 Max (Propane) model is specifically designed and optimized to operate exclusively with propane gas and cannot be converted for use with natural gas.

Propane and natural gas differ in their combustion properties, such as pressure and energy content. As a result, the burner, gas valve, and other internal components of the Ooni Koda 2 Max (Propane) model are carefully calibrated for propane use only.

If you prefer to use natural gas, you will need to purchase the Ooni Koda 2 Max (Natural Gas) model (US / Canada), which is specifically engineered for natural gas compatibility.

Natural gas use outside of the US/Canada?

We manufacture natural gas products exclusively for the U.S. and Canadian markets. In all other regions, our products are designed to be used with propane, butane, or a propane-butane mix.
