Can I use an adapter or extension chord with my Ooni Volt?

Yes, Ooni Volt can be used with an extension cable and adapter. Other appliances should not be plugged into the same extension cable as the oven.

Unwind the power cord and make sure that the power switch is in the off position before plugging your Ooni Volt 12 into a power outlet.

Note: Ooni Volt 12 comes with a short power supply cord to reduce the risk of the oven being pulled off the countertop.

If you’re using an extension cord, make sure that its marked electrical rating is at least as great as the appliance’s electrical rating (1600W).

To minimize the risk for yourself and the oven falling, route the extension cord so that it can’t be pulled on or tripped over.

If you’re using your oven outdoors, please make sure that your weatherproof extension cable is properly grounded and rated for the oven’s power supply.

Extension cables that include electrical safety devices like RCDs or GFCIs are ideal.
