My Ooni Fyra 12 chimney is stuck.

If your chimney has become stuck, there are a few ways you can remove it:

Option 1: Fire up your Ooni Fyra 12 until it's at top temperatures. Once it's hot, allow it to naturally cool down. While wearing heat-resistant gloves, try to un-twist the chimney (please take care whilst the oven is still warm). 

Option 2: Remove the baking stone from your oven. Give the base of the chimney a spray of WD-40. Allow this to settle for a couple of minutes, then try to un-twist the chimney (you may need to get someone else to help hold the oven down).

Option 3: Remove the baking stone from your oven. Get your chimney as cold as possible by pouring ice cold water or placing ice cubes around the base. Allow this to settle for a couple of minutes, then try to un-twist the chimney (you may need to get someone else to help hold the oven down).


To prevent your chimney from becoming stuck in the future:

  • Position your chimney so that the arrow is aligned with the unlocked padlock image.

  • Once aligned, twist the chimney until the arrow is in line with the locked padlock image. Be careful not to twist this too tight.
